Job Position: Medical Job Posting

Location: Commerce, MI 48382

Pay Rate: $ 19-$21 per hour based on experience.

Shift: Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm, Friday 8 am – 2:30 pm. 1/2 hour UNPAID lunch.

Description: We are hiring an experienced, full time Medical Administrative Assistant with a well established Rehabilitation practice. This position is temporary to direct hire.

Dress Code: Black scrubs

Key Respondibilities:
Open and close medical office
Answer phones, take messages, transfer to appropriate department.
Review patient lists for upcoming appointments for accuracy and resolution on fnay chart discrepancies
Oversee inventory stock and commlunicate ordering and restocking needs
Review, invoice and process requests for medical records
Register and schdule patient appointments
Maintain the provider schedule, rescheduling as necessary
Greet patients upon arrival in a professional manner
Collect or update all information, address, phone number, insurances
Ensure proper completion of patient paperwork
Verify insurance benefits

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist
Proficient with EMR systems, NextGen a plus
Complete knowledge of insurance verification
Reliable, dependable attendance
