Job Position: Medical Assistant

We are looking to hire an experienced, full time Medical Assistant for a well established Rehabilitation Practice in Commerce Twp. This position is temporary to direct hire.

Location: Commerce Twp., MI 48382

Pay Rate: $0.00/hr

Shift: Mon – Thurs 8 am – 5 pm, Friday’s 7:30 am – 3 pm

Dress Code: Black scrubs
Pay Rate: $20 – $23 per hour. Based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Opening and closing of the medical office.
Prepare patients for their appointment with the provider by taking vitals and recording in EMR
Prepare injections, administer intramuscular injections
Perform venipuncture and PRP prep
Remove acupuncture needles
Assist in fluroscopy procedures, including performing necessary cleaning or sterilization.
Collect and process patient specimens following OSHA requirements in handling specimens.
Administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant diploma, transcripts or state certification
BLS through the American Heart Association or willing to obtain
Proficient in EMR systems, NextGen a plus
Reliable, dependable attedance
