Job Position: Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49525

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr

Shift:

Description: 2 Part time MA’s (1) Tues, Wed, Thurs (2) Wed, thurs, Friday.

Hours: 7am -3:30pm

1st procedure 7:30am

Upcoming Maternity Leave, trained 2nd week of october.

Training: embryo transfers, retrievals and hysteroscopies.

Job Description:

Rooming patients as they arrive for the provider- taking vitals, charting in EMR- setting up procedures, assisting during procedures (will be trained on specific procedures).
Will learn how to retrieve and transfer embryos, assist with hysteroscopy procedures, and gain experience in the operating room and recovery areas.
Sending education to patients when needed.
Cleaning equipment/ autoclaving instruments.
Making sure examination rooms are stocked with medical supplies.
Cleaning the examination rooms after each patient exam.
Assisting nurses entering and editing results when needed.

Required Skills:

HS Diploma or gen. equiv.
Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
Min. 2-3 years of medical assisting experience
Proficient with vitals, injections, EKGs
EMR: EPIC is highly desired
Excellent attendance
Must have reliable transportation
BLS with the American Heart Association
