We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in an education setting helping qualify candidates for a specialized program. This is an on-site position working one day per week (10 hours).

Hours: Wednesdays from 8a-6p

Candidates will be responsible for:
• Supporting client services
• Reviewing medical reports for clients that have not been approved for services yet.
• Support with incoming clients overall health and dietary information.

The ideal candidate is a nurse that can use their medical knowledge when reviewing a client’s overall health history to advise the team on how to better support a client in their goals for independence. This support might be by advising us on strategies to support a client during their stay or might come as advice on how to determine if a client will be better served by getting a home delivery.

Requirements Include:
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse
• CPR or BLS Required
• TB Test Required
• Must have an active driver’s license
• Must be comfortable working with animals, specifically dogs
• Must pass a background and drivers check
