Location: Detroit, MI 48216

Pay Rate: $18 – $21 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 hours shifts can be anytime between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE

Mobile Dental Program provides on-site comprehensive dental care to the underserved population of Metro Detroit. They partner with over 25 schools, 70 head-starts, as well as numerous churches, shelters, and rehabilitation centers throughout the area.

Responsiblities:

• Sterilization, disinfecting and set up of instrument trays

• Record medical/dental histories and record vital signs

• Equipment Set-up and breakdown, this requires carrying heavy equipment.

• Drive company vehicle and travel to sites daily to and from school and community sites

• Assisting Dentists/Dental Hygienists in management of medical or dental emergencies

• Ordering and monitoring of dental supplies and equipment

• Register patients, review insurance eligibility and process visit information

• Organize paperwork needed for each site scheduled during the week by ensuring all patients receive all necessary paperwork and all forms are signed and dated correctly

• Manage all phone calls pertaining to patients for the School Base Team

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to take initiative and be proactive

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work environment and work responsibilities

• Responsible and punctual

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Computer literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace)

• Attentive to detail and data accuracy

• Comfortable working with children

• Capability to lift and move objects up to 25lbs

• Comfortable providing dental care to a diverse population base in different settings

• Must have valid driver’s license
