EMS currently works with all levels of spinal cord injury severity, from post-acute (recently discharged from the hospital) to long-term care needs. Aside from a clear focus on medical care and treatment that maximizes neurological recovery and overall health, we also strive to educate our clients and their families about the unique nature and life-changing effects of spinal cord injuries in an effort to further promote physical healing, functional rehabilitation and independence.
